How do you build Resilience?

How do you navigate change? Remember change is part of life and is always happening and most times we don't have a choice. Nothing stays the same forever, it is how we grow individually and collectively. Resilience is our ability to adapt and bounce back when things don't go as planned. Resilient people don't wallow or dwell on failures; they acknowledge the situation, learn from their mistakes, and then move forward.

Resilient people spend their time and energy focusing on situations and events that they do have a sense of control over. Because they put their efforts where they can have the most impact, they build up feelings of empowerment and confidence. Those who spend time worrying about uncontrollable events can often feel lost, helpless, and powerless to take action.

How can we build resilience? The fact is - we're going to fail from time to time: an inevitable part of living is to make mistakes and occasionally fall flat on our faces. The only way to avoid this is to live a shuttered and "safe" existence, never trying anything new or taking a risk. Few of us want a life like that! As humans, we're naturally designed to avoid pain. But what actually helps us in building resilience is embracing the discomfort, pain, and challenges that we are presented with (or even cultivate on purpose) and growing from the experience.

I feel deep gratitude to be a part of this community and together we are climbing the mountain in order to see the bigger picture. Together, we can support one another to thrive within the changes and challenges that are arising what seems to be on the daily. Together, we can take chances and fall, or even fail, and support each other to get back up, resiliently.

Together we are stronger and remember we are made of the good stuff like thunder, lightning, dirt and all the fine things :) Lets get our roots down deep and be gentle with ourselves and each other. We will make a mighty roar when the time is needed.

We got this and until next week!

Hodl on......
